The opportunity that is currently open is primarily responsible for Shipping, Receiving, Picking Orders, Putting Items, Mixing Paint, and Performing a wide range of Distribution Center duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. • Pick, Package and Ship all orders according to Blend Supply Standards. • Able to support all aspects of the Distribution Center. • Works with DC Lead for Inventory Management processes and activities. • Mix batches based on standards and formulas from Manufacturers. • Matches Paint using color match system, spray outs, and quality control. • Knows and upholds all AS9100d work instructions and Blend operating systems. • Consistent communication and collaboration regarding orders, stocking, quality, and other vital information for decision making. • Work with Lead, Manager and quality assurance for prioritization and objectives. • Ensure that work is performed consistently with Blend Supply policies and procedures. • Cycle count daily. • Follows all processes and guidelines for performing tasks, including documentation, spray- outs, and spectrometer readings. • Strictly adheres to safety guidelines and rules, environmental and regulatory guidelines, and uses all required safety equipment. • Collaborates with Quality Assurance to ensure highest degree in final product, meeting required standards, process adherence, and AS9100d logs and reports. • Reutilization for resources for rework materials, in accordance with approved procedures from central lab. • Maintains cleanliness and quality of the work area and equipment while ensuring warehouse always stays neat and organized. • Reports to Regional Distribution Center Manager for overall job direction, performance, duties, priorities, performance, and review. • Assists in keeping appropriate toner and shop supplies for lab. • Willingness to work and cross train in other areas frequently. • Performs other related duties as assigned. ACCOUNTABILITY: Checks orders for accuracy and issues Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Certificate of Formula Compliance (CofC) Certificates.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perceive color, including when matching coatings and samples.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Experience in and demonstrated ability to accurately match color specifications.
  • Ability to work safely, in a team environment, and the willingness to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule to cover for other employees during their absence.
  • Good interpersonal communication, Customer Centric, Attention to Detail.
  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following software: Inventory and Order Processing (Prophet 21); and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
