About the position

Centro Inc is a world class manufacturer in rotational molding, dedicated to delivering high-quality products with an unwavering commitment to our customers. We are currently looking for a Material Handling Leader for our Beaver Dam, Wisconsin facility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and train a team of material handlers to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to production areas in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and production delays.
  • Manage material storage, including organizing inventory and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Oversee the receiving, staging, and distribution of materials according to production needs.
  • Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory control, material tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement material handling procedures to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workplace safety.
  • Ensure the team follows safety protocols and material handling best practices, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with production, shipping, and inventory teams to maintain optimal material flow and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports related to material usage, inventory levels, and team performance.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and productive work culture with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling, logistics, or warehouse operations. Manufacturing experience is highly preferable.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in the use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory management, order tracking, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of material handling procedures, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) and familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
