The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for performing general warehouse activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update locations, and operating equipment. This role, also known as an Omni Experience Ambassador, will work within all digital initiatives such as BOPIC (Buy Online, Pick Up In Club), Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Team members are expected to carry out assigned job functions, support club policies and procedures, act with honesty and integrity, ensure a safe and positive environment for members and colleagues, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, move with speed and agility, innovate, adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. The role also involves delivering service excellence to members, resolving concerns, and maintaining GOLD Club Standards daily, including a clean and organized OMNI Space and bin storage.

Requirements

  • Required to meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA’s), performance metrics and goals.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous order pulling experience preferred.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
  • Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
  • Utilize a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
  • Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
  • Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment, and report expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
  • Communicate with the club team when merchandise needs to be replenished and work to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible.
  • Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and deadlines, including key performance indicators.
  • Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
  • Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership if metrics are not met.
  • Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure the Ship from Club (SFC) area is neat, clean, and organized.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
  • Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Process returns to the club and determine appropriate handling (via DDR or Membership desk).
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards.
  • Meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA’s), performance metrics, and goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
  • Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

  • Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily: Full, Fresh, Clean Club Standards, Grand opening look daily.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, inside the OMNI Space.
  • Organize members' orders using Bin storage based on gold standards.
  • Regularly clean and maintain storage bins based on safety standards.
  • Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department.
