About The Position

Flooring2 is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Kent. As our Customer Service & Order Coordinator, you will be the "bridge" between our customers and our warehouse. This is not a typical call-center job; you will manage the entire customer journey-from the first phone call and mailing samples to processing final orders and managing basic accounts receivable.
What You'll Do (Key Duties)
Customer Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and manage the general company email inbox, providing prompt and helpful responses to inquiries.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately enter and place customer orders into our system, ensuring product codes and measurements are correct.
Sample Logistics: Physically pull requested flooring samples from our showroom/warehouse and prepare them for mailing to customers.
Billing Support: Perform basic Accounts Receivable tasks, including reaching out to clients for payment updates and assisting with collection reminders.
General Support: Work closely with the warehouse team to confirm stock levels and update customers on delivery timelines.

Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel) and the ability to learn inventory management software quickly.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for both sales support and billing inquiries.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in customer service, office administration, or a retail environment (home improvement experience is a plus!).
Reliable transportation to our Kent location.
