About The Position

The position involves performing daily warehouse functions in the department, which includes tasks such as picking, cutting, re-spooling, and packing wire and cable. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards while ensuring efficient operations in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Carefully read and interpret documents such as work orders, wire and cable specifications and procedures to ensure order is completed correctly
• Perform basic math functions - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs

Responsibilities

• Load and set-up wire/cable onto machines
• Cut / re-spool wire/cable per customer specifications
• Follow all work procedures for pulling material, cutting of cable, and in-process inspections
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Leader
• Provide hands on job training to coworkers as assigned
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager
