About The Position

Select LTC Pharmacy is a leading provider of pharmacy services for long-term care patients, providing comfort when it matters most. SUMMARY This position is responsible for data entry, prescription processing, monitoring and prioritizing the medication dispensing workflow, and handling rejected claims/third-party adjudication. The technician ensures timely order processing based on delivery timelines while providing excellent customer service via phone and electronic communication. The ideal candidate has experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy and is proficient in QS1 and Docutrack. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and collaboration are essential. SCHEDULE Onsite, varies, includes weekend, evening, and holiday availability.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license that is in good standing
  • 3 years of pharmacy processing experience (LTC experience is preferred)
  • Proficiency in QS1 and Docutrack software systems
  • Knowledgeable of medication dispensing processes under the physician dispensing protocol in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to communicate professionally with providers, patients, and team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office 365
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
  • Ability to adapt to new systems or processes
  • Ability to perform essential office tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment; and occasional lifting or carrying of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • LTC experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process and bill prescriptions and medical supplies
  • Perform administrative and record-keeping tasks as assigned
  • Handle third-party adjudication
  • Coordinate closely with Select dispatch team
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
