About The Position

The Order Entry Clerk is primarily responsible for communicating with customers and entering their orders into the databases. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, is proficient with detail-oriented tasks, and has excellent communication skills. A pleasant and partnership-focused attitude is essential for coordinating activities with other departments and supervisors.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data entry and 10-KEY calculator use.
  • Experience in order processing, entry, and fulfillment.
  • 2+ years of experience in dispatch and corporate customer service, preferably in food and beverage distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheets, including Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and auditing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food and beverage distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to receive and confirm orders.
  • Enter orders into the database accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments and supervisors to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Manage paperwork by lifting and moving boxes of files.
  • File and retrieve data by stooping, bending, and reaching as required.
