About The Position

The Order Entry Clerk shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: - The primary responsibility of the Order Entry Clerk is communicating and entering orders received by phone, email, and fax from branches, customers, and/or in-person, and making changes to orders.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with a ten-key calculator.
• Previous experience with data entry.
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• The ability to work well with numbers.
• Minimum age: 18
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in typing.
• Previous experience in the Customer Service field.
• Previous experience working with AS400.
• Manipulating Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Will be a self-starter and be able to work without direct supervision.
• Proficient with and enjoy detailed work, as well as have a good telephone voice and a pleasant disposition.
• Be able to work well with others to coordinate activities with other departments and supervisors.
