About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Order/Data Entry Processor to join their team in Coldwater, Ohio. This role involves reviewing and interpreting customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams. The position is essential for supporting the manufacturing and customer service departments by ensuring that orders are processed correctly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Outlook; experience in basic computer operation skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with fellow employees.
• Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of Avalon and Pplus systems.
• 2+ years' experience in order entry/data entry.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets customer order information to ensure all necessary items are present for effective order production.
• Responds to internal questions from manufacturing and customer service regarding specific orders and determines the correct system for order entry.
• Tears down and/or sorts orders to prepare for entry.
• Maintains attendance according to facility guidelines and works constructively with co-workers, supervisors, and vendors.
