Order Builder
About The Position
Swire Coca-Cola is one of the largest bottlers and distributors of iconic beverage brands in North America, serving over 30 million consumers across 13 states with more than 50 beverage brands. The Order Builder role is part of the Warehouse team, responsible for ensuring customers receive correct and timely orders. This involves building delivery loads by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallets to fill customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment using powered industrial trucks, while strictly adhering to warehouse safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire date
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Prior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallet(s)
- Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before being loaded into the truck for delivery
- Stage completed pallets in designated shipping area(s)
- Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
- Complete training requirements
- Restock product in picking areas as needed
- Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
