About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. 99.0% accuracy is goal for order picking. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. Build customer orders according to assigned load tickets. Operate industrial power equipment for lifting and moving product. Stage completed pallets in designated area. Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation of product. Adhere to good manufacturing and safety standards. Responsible for meeting productivity requirements. Maintain orderly and clean work area to comply with Company safety and sanitation requirements. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Order count verification per ASN (Advanced Ship Notice), verification of order prior to delivery of product – 99.0% accuracy required. Other duties may be assigned or requested. Requirements

  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and work instruction.
  • Ability to respond to common inquires.
  • High degree of ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • This position requires the use of good math skills to make several calculations per minute.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format.
  • Close attention to detail required to verify product stock numbers and date codes.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Certified Forklift License.
