About The Position

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Fort Pierce, FL, is seeking an Order Builder / Checker, to join our team. Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate depending on the shift Shift / Hours: 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday @4pm;10-12-hour workdays; possible Saturday (If needed)) Job Duties: As an Order Builder / Checker, you will be working in a cooler environment with a range of job duties, including but not limited to the following primary tasks: Comply with all environmental regulations including GMP’s, HACCP and OSHA Maintain a clean and safe environment while observing all PPE standards and precautions. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as FDA standards. Maintain high standards QA, QC, and sanitation for both machines and products. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment. Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation. Responsible for meeting productivity requirements and frequently exposed to fumes and loud noise from forklifts and trucks. Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. Clean and repackage the damaged product, load full-service route trucks, and make sure the loads match the outgoing tickets. Operate powered lift trucks, floor sweepers, pallet jacks and forklifts safely, with a 0% incident rate. Drug Free Workplace: Notifies supervisor of unusual problems. Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP. Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities: Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications. Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system. Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system. Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards. Organizational Relationships: Position reports to Shift Manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
