About The Position
Ramus & Company, LLC is currently seeking an Order and Fulfillment Associate for a part-time position located in Wilmington, NC. This role is essential for ensuring that orders are accurately picked, prepared, and packed from various online platforms. The company, founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife team Calvin and Ingrid Ramus, specializes in creating whimsical yet classic stationery and lifestyle items, guided by a preppy aesthetic. The Order and Fulfillment Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the order fulfillment process, contributing to the overall customer experience and satisfaction. The primary responsibilities of the Order and Fulfillment Associate include product finishing tasks such as hand embossing envelopes, inserting envelopes into greeting cards, and packaging greeting cards in predetermined quantities. The associate will also be responsible for order fulfillment and shipping, which involves accurately picking orders, printing and labeling barcodes, and carefully packaging orders according to channel requirements. Additionally, the role includes inventory management tasks such as documenting out-of-stock products, receiving inventory, and restocking items as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will be proactive and able to work independently with minimal direction. While prior experience in an ecommerce, retail, fulfillment, or design environment is a plus, it is not a requirement. The role requires physical stamina, as the associate must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. A flexible work schedule is available, with expected hours ranging from 20 to 30 per week, primarily during weekdays.
