Orbital Welder
About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Orbital Welder to join CHA Industries, the company that invented the Mark 50 and Planetary Fixturing! Responsibilities: Perform high-purity orbital welding of stainless-steel tubing and components in a cleanroom setting. Set up, operate, and maintain orbital welding equipment, including power supplies and weld heads. Prepare tubing and fittings by cutting, facing, deburring, and cleaning to meet specifications. Assurance of clean equipment and checking task execution for possible errors. Participate in process improvement efforts and team collaboration. Perform additional duties as required to meet project timelines and client needs.
Requirements
- Proficiency using orbital weld systems (e.g., AMI, Swagelok, or equivalent).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long hours
- High school diploma or GED required; welding or technical certification preferred
- Openness to learning
Nice To Haves
- Industry-specific knowledge and experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of cleanroom operations or contamination control best practices.
