About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Oral Surgery Office Supervisor to oversee daily operations at one of our surgical practice locations. This role provides hands-on leadership to the front and back office teams, ensures seamless coordination of surgical schedules and patient care, and supports an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing operational oversight with team leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and support administrative and clinical support staff, promoting accountability, professionalism, and collaboration. Oversee daily oral surgery operations, including surgical scheduling, patient flow, case coordination, and front-office functions. Ensure efficient coordination of consultations, surgical procedures, post-operative follow-ups, and referral management. Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and patient experience. Support revenue cycle activities, including insurance verification, surgical case estimates, billing oversight, collections, and reporting. Serve as a point of contact for patient questions, concerns, or escalations, ensuring compassionate and timely resolution. Assist with staff onboarding, training, and performance feedback in alignment with company policies and clinical standards. Partner with the Practice Manager and leadership team to ensure consistency across locations and adherence to organizational goals. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control protocols, and oral surgery safety standards. Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth and efficient surgical office operations. Requirements 2+ years of experience in dental, oral surgery, or healthcare office operations required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with oral surgery scheduling, insurance processes (including medical and dental), and case presentation preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced surgical environment. Proficiency with dental practice management software and office systems. Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
