About The Position

The Oral Surgery Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the oral surgery team by preparing patients for procedures, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring a sterile and safe environment. This position requires a blend of technical skills and patient care, making it essential for the smooth operation of the dental practice.

Requirements

• Experience in oral surgery assistance.
• Proficiency in operating X-ray and 3D scanning equipment.
• Knowledge of infection control and biohazard protocols.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and assist in patient care.

• Familiarity with Dentrix software.

Responsibilities

• Operating X-ray and 3D scanning equipment and developing radiographs for diagnostics.
• Preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
• Assisting the surgeon with all chairside procedures including operatory setup, anesthesia administration, and cleanup.
• Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring vital signs during procedures.
