Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced clinical setting
  • Active listening and professional verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to safety standards and office policies
  • Basic CPR Certification required (we can assist with obtaining this)
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination & Titer
  • TB Vaccination & Titer

Nice To Haves

  • Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor during surgical procedures and consultations
  • Prepare, seat, and monitor patients, including taking vitals
  • Maintain competency in anesthesia monitoring
  • Ensure all treatment plans and consent forms are completed accurately
  • Provide clear, supportive pre‑operative and post‑operative instructions
  • Maintain high standards of patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction
  • Obtain necessary medical clearances for surgical procedures
  • Follow OSHA and all regulatory safety guidelines
  • Ensure radiation safety and produce high‑quality radiographs
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information
  • Document and chart patient care according to established standards
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain instruments and equipment
  • Ensure operatory rooms are ready and properly stocked
  • Build positive relationships with patients, providers, and coworkers
  • Handle conflict constructively, offering solutions when possible
  • Adapt to changing duties and support special projects as needed
