About The Position

We are seeking an Oral Surgeon to deliver high-quality surgical care with a focus on general oral surgery “bread & butter” procedures. This is a clinically driven role designed for a surgeon who values efficiency, strong patient relationships, and consistently excellent outcomes. Our practice is built on a strong clinical foundation. Dr. Kirkpatrick and Dr. Richards have been with the organization for over 20 years, contributing to long-term stability, consistent growth, and a well-established surgical program. Requirements

  • Strong clinical and surgical skillset
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction
  • Ability to manage a high-volume schedule without compromising care
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to handle escalated situations professionally
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • CODA-accredited OMFS residency required
  • Active Florida dental license and anesthesia permit
  • Board-certified (ABOMS)
  • DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications (current)
  • Malpractice insurance eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Deliver surgical care with a high standard of excellence and integrity
  • Collaborate effectively with providers and team members
  • Conduct thorough medical history reviews to determine surgical candidacy
  • Educate patients and clearly communicate treatment value
  • Coordinate care with referring providers as needed
  • Complete and sign detailed clinical notes daily
  • Train and support surgical assistants when appropriate
  • Manage patient expectations before and after procedures
  • Maintain alignment with the practice’s lead-to-surgery process
  • Utilize digital dentistry and pursue ongoing clinical development
