Emplify Health's (Gundersen Region) department of Dental Specialties is recruiting for an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to work at our La Crosse and outreach clinics. The successful candidate will be board certified or actively seeking board certification. The applicant will have a Wisconsin and Minnesota Dental license or be eligible to obtain both. The candidate will join a busy broad scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in our La Crosse, Onalaska, Prairie du Chien, Tomah, and Winona clinics. The candidate will also share teaching responsibilities at our fully accredited OMFS residency program. Being part of an integrated health system leads to immediate access to operating rooms and many other resources. We seek a candidate who is innovative with the ability to collaborate with others. Our clinics offer state of the art equipment, a highly trained staff, and outstanding compensation potential in our physician led health system. This setting provides a unique blend of private practice while being involved in an academic setting. The Dental Specialties Department is comprised of a team of dental specialists including orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. We are proud to have a robust referral base within the dental community. As Gundersen Health System is an integrated health system, we work collaboratively across many clinical departments to provide high-quality care to our patients. Outside of the dental specialties, much of the interdepartmental collaboration is with otolaryngology, surgery/trauma, oncology, sleep medicine, and the cleft team. Emplify Health offers one of the best work environments in the nation, loan forgiveness, competitive salary, and a great benefits package. Our service to the area includes regional clinics throughout Southwestern Wisconsin, Southeastern Minnesota, and Northeastern Iowa. La Crosse has an area population over 120,000 and is unequalled for its natural beauty in the Upper Mississippi River Valley. It also offers many outdoor activities, a vibrant downtown, and an excellent school system and art programs.
