About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to lead our presales initiatives and drive the growth of our professional services practice. This leader will architect scalable OCI solutions tailored to client needs, work closely with sales teams to win new business, and build a thriving consulting practice delivering exceptional cloud services.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience architecting and deploying Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure design including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
  • Proven track record leading presales engagements and winning cloud deals.
  • Experience growing or managing a professional services practice or consulting team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to engage technical and business audiences.
  • Deep understanding of cloud migration, modernization, automation, and governance best practices.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements and business development.
  • Experience with Oracle SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS products.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines on OCI.
  • Understanding of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead presales engagements by collaborating with sales to understand customer requirements and design OCI-based solutions that address business challenges.
  • Conduct discovery workshops, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts demonstrating OCI capabilities and value.
  • Develop and articulate solution architectures including compute, networking, storage, database, security, and automation on OCI.
  • Lead and mentor a team of OCI consultants and architects to deliver high-quality professional services.
  • Build and expand the professional services practice by identifying new service offerings, refining delivery frameworks, and driving operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with product teams, partners, and stakeholders to stay current on OCI innovations and best practices.
  • Develop technical proposals, statements of work, and pricing models to support presales and project delivery.
  • Manage customer relationships as a trusted advisor to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction with OCI implementations.
  • Support training and enablement programs for sales and delivery teams to increase OCI knowledge and capabilities.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to continuously evolve the practice.
