About The Position

Capgemini is looking for a Junior AI Developer to join their growing Oracle Cloud and AI engineering team. This role is ideal for someone 1 year out of school who has hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (especially Claude Code) and wants to apply those skills to real enterprise systems, not just demos. You’ll work alongside senior architects and integration specialists to design, build, and enhance Oracle Fusion integrations and PaaS-based services, using modern AI-assisted development practices. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong mentorship and a clear growth path. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in software development
  • Hands-on experience using Claude Code (or similar AI coding tools) for real development tasks
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar
  • Basic understanding of: REST APIs
  • Basic understanding of: JSON / XML
  • Basic understanding of: Git or other version control
  • Strong curiosity about AI-assisted development and enterprise systems
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials, SCM, HCM) is an asset
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Oracle PaaS
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure)
  • Experience building or consuming APIs
  • Coursework or projects involving: AI tools in software development
  • Coursework or projects involving: Automation or integration projects

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations (Financials, SCM, HCM, etc.)
  • Build and maintain services on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle PaaS
  • Use Claude Code and other AI coding assistants to accelerate development, refactoring, testing, and documentation
  • Write and troubleshoot REST/SOAP integrations, data mappings, and transformations
  • Support API-based integrations between Oracle Fusion and external systems
  • Assist with POCs, MVPs, and automation initiatives leveraging AI-enabled development workflows
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and design discussions
