The Engineering Deployment Site Practitioner supports the full lifecycle of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation across multiple medical centers. In this role, you will perform and organize discovery efforts at hospitals & clinics (i.e. sites) related to End User Devices (EUDs), interfaced systems, Data Drops & Power Outlets (DDPO) and post discovery analysis communicating technical scope and requirements

Requirements

  • Experience with Oracle Health Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly large-scale implementations and deployments
  • Previous hospital and clinic assessment experience and familiarity with system interfaces and medical device interfaces with Oracle Health EHR image integration, viewer workflows and image cutover processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical, clinical and operational project teams while managing multiple tasks independently, learn and execute without continuous direction
  • Previous Federal consulting or experience working within the DoD, Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) or Military Hospital System (MHS)
  • The ability to travel is an essential function of this role and may vary based on client, enterprise or project needs, with up to 50% travel to client sites nationwide
  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Candidates must comply with applicable client requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates

Responsibilities

  • build an understanding of the client’s list of standard capabilities, devices and interfaces to perform meaningful discovery and gap analysis
  • support device procurement tracking & logistics
  • develop relationships with local site IT leaders and other technology/network/engineering groups
  • support the overall technical readiness of a transition to a new EHR
  • Oversee external vendor management and coordinator, cutover planning and support, and project management of engineering activities
