About The Position

The Oracle Health Application Director will oversee application groups within the ITWorks client site, ensuring that business standards and service levels are met. This role involves contributing to the vision, strategy, planning, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of applications across the client. The director will also manage service delivery, analyze data for business gaps, and lead process improvements while mentoring associates and establishing team goals.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education.
• At least 2 years of client relationship management or healthcare information technology consulting experience.
• At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job.
• Experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) solution.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of people management or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3 years of work experience with Oracle Cerner Millennium applications.
• 3 years of Healthcare IT work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage application groups within the ITWorks client site to meet business standards and service levels.
• Contribute to the vision, strategy, planning, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of applications.
• Support maintenance and configuration of applications to ensure they meet objectives.
• Develop the overall solution roadmap and manage service delivery to clients.
• Analyze data, identify business gaps, and recommend resolutions.
• Lead quality and process improvement initiatives at the team and department level.
• Mentor associates and provide guidance to promote success and growth.
• Establish and communicate team goals that support department objectives.
• Provide input on staffing and performance decisions for direct reports.
