To learn more about how we can supercharge progress for you, visit www.hcltech.com Job Title: Oracle Fusion Data Conversion Lead / Sr. Developer Role Overview: We’re seeking a seasoned Oracle Fusion Conversion Tech Lead to own and deliver end-to-end data conversion for our Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/ Finance / SCM) working with business stakeholders, functional teams and technical consultants to ensure accurate, complete, and timely migration of data from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion applications. You’ll lead and provide the technical migration strategy, build robust ETL pipelines, manage data quality and reconciliation, and partner closely with functional leads and business stakeholders through mock, SIT, UAT, and cutover. This role is ideal for a hands-on lead who can architect, develop, and mentor while driving execution in a fast-paced transformation program.
Requirements
- Experience in data extracts from legacy systems such as NetSuite, QAD, MS Dynamics GP and transformation using Python, Scripts/Tools such as Alteryx is a must.
Responsibilities
- Lead the data conversion , planning, and execution for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (Finance, SCM etc .. as applicable) and develop the solutions where needed.
- Define and manage the data migration roadmap, including legacy data analysis, extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation.
- Collaborate with functional teams to identify conversion requirements and mapping rules between legacy and Fusion Cloud data structures.
- Develop and oversee conversion templates, data mapping documents, and validation scripts.
- Manage and coordinate the execution of conversion cycles (mock loads, trial runs, cutover, final migration).
- Work with technical teams to design and optimize ETL scripts, FBDI templates, ADFDI, HDL, and web service integrations
- Ensure data quality and reconciliation by developing audit, balancing, and validation reports.
- Coordinate with business owners for data sign-off and approval.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the conversion team (developers, analysts, offshore/onshore resources).
- Troubleshoot conversion errors and work with Oracle support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements during migration.
