The Oracle Functional Consultant will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle database instances across various versions including 11g, 12c, and 19c. The role involves routine database monitoring, performance tuning, and query optimization. The consultant will also configure and manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and RMAN, as well as implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN. Troubleshooting and resolving database issues, managing database security, performing migrations, upgrades, and patching with minimal downtime are key responsibilities. Additionally, the consultant will automate administrative tasks using Oracle scripts and monitor capacity planning, storage, and system resources. Collaboration with application developers to enhance database performance and scalability is also expected.
