About The Position

The Oracle EPM EDM Administrator is responsible for governing and maintaining enterprise master data across financial and operational systems using Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS/EDM). This role ensures hierarchies, dimensions, and reference data remain accurate, aligned across applications, and well-controlled. The administrator will support ongoing changes requested by business teams and lead integrations to new source or target systems as the enterprise landscape evolves.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in finance
  • 5+ years of experience administering Oracle EDMCS or Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM/DRG).
  • 5+ years of Strong understanding of metadata structures in Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS), Hyperion, or similar performance management platforms.
  • 5+ years of Experience managing hierarchies, dimensions, and metadata governance processes.
  • 5+ years of Hands-on experience configuring integrations, exports/imports, and connections to source/target systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot metadata errors, validation issues, and integration failures.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Strong communicator able to partner effectively with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, data warehouses, or MDM solutions.
  • Knowledge of financial close, planning, or reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data governance frameworks, or data quality tools.
  • Ability to write Groovy rules, REST API calls, or SQL (nice to have).
  • Oracle EPM or EDMCS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of metadata—including adding, removing, and updating hierarchies, nodes, and properties across dimensions.
  • Monitor and maintain data governance workflows, approvals, validations, and change requests.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Troubleshoot metadata, hierarchy, and validation issues reported by business users or integration teams.
  • Configure and maintain integrations between EDMCS and Oracle EPM Cloud applications (FCCS, PCMCS, PBCS/EPBCS), ERP systems, data warehouses, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Assist in onboarding new source or target applications, including mapping, data transformation, and connection management.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and application owners during integration projects, upgrades, and system migrations.
  • Coordinate metadata updates across planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics environments.
  • Manage versioning, viewpoints, node types, security, subscriptions, and properties.
  • Implement validations, derived properties, and business rules to ensure metadata integrity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on EDMCS functionality, hierarchy design practices, and integration behavior.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for governance processes, integration flows, and metadata standards.
  • Provide user training, guidance, and support for change request submission and hierarchy management.
  • Mentor offshore EDM Administrators
  • Identify opportunities to optimize metadata structures, automation, and data governance workflows.
  • Stay up to date with Oracle feature releases and recommend improvements for adoption.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Data Governance teams to evolve the enterprise metadata strategy.
