About the position

Infosys is seeking an Oracle EBS Finance Project Manager, who drives programs and projects of significant complexity and risks. The position has the primary responsibilities of overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects. This position will be responsible for schedules and preparing meeting materials for project team meetings, including kickoff, testing kick-off and sign-off, go/no-go and post-mortems. This position will be intensely involved in requirement gathering, estimation, development, testing, implementation, and support. This position will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. This position is expected to navigate successfully through differences of opinion within various business groups and technology, to come up with the best possible solutions keeping organizational interest. You will be participating in the improvement of business processes and should work along with the client. This position will manage client expectations and overall program requirement finalization and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Drive programs and projects of significant complexity and risks.
  • Overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects.
  • Prepare meeting materials for project team meetings, including kickoff, testing kick-off and sign-off, go/no-go, and post-mortems.
  • Involved in requirement gathering, estimation, development, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Shape value-adding consulting solutions for clients.
  • Navigate through differences of opinion within various business groups and technology.
  • Participate in the improvement of business processes.
  • Manage client expectations and overall program requirement finalization and delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of specified locations or be willing to relocate.
  • 6+ years of Accounting/Finance experience in a multinational environment with at least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Solid understanding of PMI Methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, detail-oriented and able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Team player, flexible, and ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Organize the overall project team and establish clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Analyze project plan to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with GPOs, BizApps, and BPAs from various functions to create detailed project plans.
  • Facilitate meetings by sending meeting agendas, capturing and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Proactively identify dependencies between teams and resolve issues.
  • Influence decision making and problem solving across projects, programs, and teams.
  • Close projects and report overall level of success to sponsors and stakeholders.
