About The Position

Job Description ● Design logical Data Warehouse architecture and data model, implement physical Data Warehouse design (schema, indexes, partitions, etc.) ● Design solutions for a high scale platform processing of large amounts of data ● Assess and research current implementations of the platform and determine the course of action required to enhance the platform ● Develop new Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL database modules and code to support expansion of current oracle solution for business expansion. ● Work towards expanding our current data marts to enable data mining in broader across all our databases. ● Strong commitment to quality, documentation and engineering excellence ● Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and adaptability ● Experience in reverse engineering and understanding existing applications ● Agile methodologies or iterative development processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems development, including Data Warehouse development
• 5+ Years of Oracle in Unix/Linux environment
• Solid understanding of data warehousing architecture
• High proficiency in designing and writing queries, stored procedures, packages and functions in Oracle 11g or 12c
• Strong hands-on experience of scripting languages (Python, Shell or any equivalent language) is required
• Ability to take ownership
• Willingness to learn niche technologies based on role needs
• Inclination to understand the business area
• Must have excellent listening, communication and influencing skills.
• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Object oriented programming with C/C++/Java is a nice to have
• Background in payment processing industry or financial services industry is nice to have
