Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Database Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is an onsite position. The Oracle Database Manager will provide strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues and to build new requested features for our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

  • Install and configure CGI's Momentum application in all environments.
  • Support regression testing and assist with configuration during implementation.
  • Perform configuration management tasks for software deliveries to the customer, ensuring proper documentation and acceptance.
  • Apply approved software packets to all environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in environments to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed procedures for installing and configuring CGI's Momentum application to ensure repeatability and knowledge transfer.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Oracle databases in all environments, leveraging Oracle DBA expertise.
  • Provide escalated support to the onsite Production Application Administrators for complex issues.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, an additional 6 Years of experience might be substituted in place of a degree.
  • 8 + years of IT experience, with 5 + years supporting CGI's Momentum application or similar enterprise financial systems.
  • 3 + years of experience as an Oracle DBA, including PL/SQL development and database troubleshooting.
  • Proven expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining Momentum components (e.g., Tuxedo Server, WebLogic Server, webMethods, BIRT, SAP Business Objects).
  • Experience with Momentum upgrades.
  • DoD 8570, Information Assurance Technical, Level II Certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
  • 2 + years of experience working in an SAP environment.
  • Oracle Developer Certification or equivalent Oracle-related certification.
  • Familiar with BIRT Report Designer and Business Objects.
  • Fundamental understanding of federal financials.
  • Previous experience as a government contractor supporting financial system implementations.
  • Familiarity with CGI's Momentum version 7.9.4.
