About The Position

The National Security Sector of Leidos is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support our customers' mission and other interagency operations. This fully onsite role in Suitland, MD requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and offers the chance to work on high-impact national security systems.

Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience (or Master's with 6+ years); additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• IAT Level II DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong experience with Oracle 11GR2 and enterprise-level database administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Oracle 11GR2 databases for performance, availability, and security.
• Collaborate across IT functions (Systems, Network, SAN, DBAs) to resolve complex issues.
• Perform proactive health checks, manage logs and space usage, and troubleshoot errors.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Server Software and related tools.
• Support application software migration and debugging as it relates to Oracle.
• Deliver performance reports and contribute to mission continuity.
