About The Position

Support, administer, and maintain multiple Oracle databases in support of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Work with developers to design and deliver optimal data-based solutions Perform database upgrades and application of patches Work with DevSecOps engineers to support operating system (OS) level changes Analyze system logs to perform root-cause analysis of performance or infrastructure issues Analyze database performance to improve responsiveness and to right-size deployments Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client's technical specialists Provide support for downstream testing efforts and defect resolution Work with other agile teams to effectively design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other agile ceremonies

Requirements

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, including Oracle 19c on Linux platforms
  • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Experience troubleshooting production databases.
  • Experience in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring database security.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and procedures
  • Experience working in an Agile environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing Oracle databases in support of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
  • Experience migrating Oracle databases between platforms
  • Experience managing production Oracle databases running on AWS RDS
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux
  • Experience with data replication using AWS DMS
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)
