About The Position

The Operations Manager is accountable to ensure the delivery and orchestration of operational service activities for Galderma's Oracle ERP application landscape. This includes ownership of platform governance, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance, internal controls, and continuous improvement in accordance with corporate standards. Coordinates and mobilizes internal resources and external 3rd party services for the effective delivery and operational performance of the services/applications in scope ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with internal standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business or similar.
  • Eight (8) or more years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • 2-3 years IT Service Management experience in a Cloud ERP setting.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with middleware integration tools (Boomi, OIC, EDI, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Service Now or other service management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders.
  • Strong time and work management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Oracle ERP application operational activities in cooperation with Galderma IT and service providers.
  • Communicates maintenance, planned and unplanned downtime in a timely and streamlined manner.
  • Ensures optimal service availability and service performance of Oracle applications and troubleshoots issues to define root cause and solutions.
  • Responsible for platform maintenance and upgrades, ensuring standard change management processes are followed.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Supports User Administration activities such as adding/modifying user accounts and roles.
  • Conducts periodic reviews and audits of user access to detect and resolve unauthorized access.
  • Documents and audits security controls and supports external audits for regulatory compliance.
  • Supports technical teams for incident and request management, ensuring restoration of services within agreed SLA.
  • Supports major incidents and critical situation resolution, finding root causes in collaboration with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Defines monitoring levels and types, ensuring customer interactions are controlled.
  • Integrates support and project activities in collaboration with project teams.
  • Plays an active role in defining contract changes with vendors for operational activities.
  • Contributes to IT Service Catalog and provides leadership to temporary work teams.
  • Leads release planning sprints and facilitates Change Management meetings.
  • Ensures all release and change activities follow established governance processes.
