About The Position

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Talent Management Functional Consultant who is experienced in Oracle Cloud Learning and with experience in various other modules like Goals, Performance Management, Compensation and Recruiting to join our robust Cloud practice. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end Cloud project experience leading Oracle Cloud Learning. It is critical to understand how to align key deliverables and milestone metrics for project success and deliver comprehensive business solutions for client system optimization. As a key member of our talented Cloud team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers and consultants to develop, plan and implement Cloud solutions in a Commercial setting.

Requirements

  • Must have a solid understanding and work experience as a Functional Lead with the following: Ideal candidate has completed two end-to-end Cloud implementations with Oracle HCM Talent Management Suite
  • Needed key skills are in the Talent Management suite of modules – must have experience in Oracle Cloud Learning with other modules such as Goals, Performance Mgmt, Compensation Recruitment and Workforce Management is preferred
  • Solid experience working with Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft or Cloud applications with a focus in Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Experience implementing HCM solutions in Commercial settings is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
  • Oracle Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred
  • Must already be living in the US
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire Cloud application services implementation lifecycle
  • Identify business requirements and map them to HCM Cloud functionality
  • Conduct Functional Design Workshops
  • Identify functionality gaps and build extensions for them
  • Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
  • Configure the applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
  • Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions
  • Assist client in preparing validation scripts and testing scenarios, and developing test scripts
  • Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production
  • Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
  • Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/client on a regular basis
  • Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
