About The Position
As an Oracle Cloud Financials Analyst at SMX, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with business clients to identify their financial management needs and develop technical solutions using Oracle Cloud Financials Applications. This position involves engaging with clients to gather requirements, presenting tailored solutions, and implementing new systems designed to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will also be responsible for training employees on the new systems and preparing comprehensive process documentation for other consultants or business managers to follow. Your primary responsibilities will include requirement gathering, where you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their financial management processes, requirements, and pain points. You will then move on to solution design, developing functional designs and solutions that leverage Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. In addition to configuration of the Oracle Fusion Financials applications based on business requirements, you will develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality of the configured system, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. You will also collaborate with technical teams to define data migration strategies and oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Financials. Post-implementation, you will provide support and troubleshooting assistance to address user issues and ensure the smooth operation of the system. This role may require up to 50% travel, with preferred locations in the Philadelphia area, although remote work may be considered.
