About The Position
The position involves leading large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects to build a technical roadmap for the WFM Data Services platform. The role requires leading and reviewing design artifacts, building and owning automation and monitoring frameworks that showcase reliable, accurate, easy-to-understand metrics and operational KPIs to stakeholders for data pipeline quality. Additionally, the position involves executing proof of concept on new technology and tools to select the best solutions, supporting business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities and drive resolution, and communicating status and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders. The role also includes directing project teams and cross-functional teams on all technical aspects of the projects, leading the engineering team to build and support real-time, highly available data, data pipelines, and technology capabilities, and translating strategic requirements into business requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs. Furthermore, the position requires defining and implementing data retention and governance policies and procedures, identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, enabling the team to pursue insights and applied breakthroughs, and building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various structured and unstructured data sources using big data technologies. The role also involves building analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics, working with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues, and performing root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues.
