As an Account Manager 2 at TD SYNNEX (DLT), you will play a critical role in supporting and expanding our public‑sector client portfolio. You’ll manage assigned accounts, build meaningful customer and partner relationships, and drive business growth through strategic sales activities. Working within one of the industry’s most respected technology distributors, you’ll collaborate closely with internal experts—including our OCTO technologists—to deliver innovative solutions that help government and education customers achieve their missions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, retention, and expansion across assigned client accounts. You will: Client & Partner Engagement Develop and maintain trusted relationships with assigned clients, partners, and customers. Educate stakeholders on DLT’s core value services, offerings, and market differentiators. Participate in client‑facing sales and marketing activities to promote partner technologies. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management Conduct outreach to potential prospects and identify new opportunities through research and lead generation. Manage a healthy pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely documentation of activity. Create and maintain monthly sales reports, including Sales Plays, pipeline updates, and business impact summaries. Track all opportunities in the CRM and ensure documentation—including quotes, agreements, and credit terms—is accurate and up to date. Business Growth & Strategic Alignment Execute internal and joint business plans aligned with client and partner objectives. Leverage the OCTO team (market executives and technologists) to drive solution adoption and customer success. Support retention through proactive customer success activities, relationship nurturing, and value reinforcement. Customer Experience & Issue Resolution Serve as a reliable resource for assigned accounts by managing escalations and resolving issues promptly. Ensure clients receive timely responses, accurate information, and high‑value support.
