FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL: Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently Located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, Podiatry and Bariatric surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International Joint Commission Accredited We are currently looking for a PRN Operating Room X-Ray Technologist to join our Imaging team. Job Summary: The OR X-Ray Radiology Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting the radiologists during the following procedures: myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams. The technologist will also be responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and the In-Patient areas and any walk in, routine X-rays ordered. The North Central Imaging department is a fast paced area and the technologist must be flexible to move between multiple exams, areas and be able to manage his/her time effective and communicate well while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- setting up sterile trays
