About The Position

The position involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and preparing the surgical field based on the specific procedure and the surgeon's preferences. The individual will perform duties while adhering to stringent standards of aseptic techniques and in accordance with Operating Room and hospital policies and procedures. It is important to note that certification is required only for those individuals hired after December 29, 2020.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program that includes on-the-job training Required
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• Certification as Operating Room Tech Required or Certification as Surgical Tech Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in an operating room Preferred
