Responsibilities

• Assist in the surgical setting with instrument preparation, sterile processing, and intraoperative instrument handling, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and precise instrument counts to prevent errors.
• Collaborate with surgeons and circulating staff to anticipate needs, anticipate equipment substitutions, and facilitate smooth operative flow.
• Participate in pre- and post-operative tasks, contributing to room readiness, documentation, and patient safety checks.
• Develop advanced familiarity with a variety of surgical kits, implants, and equipment, expanding your technical competencies within the OR environment.
