Responsibilities

Prepare the OR by ensuring proper room setup, equipment readiness, and sterile technique for each procedure.
Support the surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies promptly and accurately, while maintaining strict counts and sterility.
Assist with patient positioning, draping, specimen labeling, and intraoperative documentation, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with circulating nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and adapt to rapid changes during procedures.
Participate in OR turnover processes to help minimize downtime between cases, contributing to improved unit efficiency.
