About The Position

The Surgical Technician will assist surgeons in all aspects of the operating room procedures. This role involves working under the supervision of a surgeon and RN to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. The Surgical Technician is responsible for ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Additionally, the Surgical Technician will perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Surgical Tech training program preferred.
• Completion of a minimum of six weeks clinical OR rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Surgical Tech certification preferred.
