Operating Room Opportunities Our Operating Room is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Operating Room Shift: 3 12's 7a- 7p Patient Population: Vascular Surgery, minimally invasive Cardiovascular surgery. Patient Ratios: 1 RN and 1 tech per case. High Acuity cases may have 2 RNs and 1 tech. Number of Beds: 4 OR's Department Specifics: >95% of RNs have BSN, 60% are Specialty Certified. We have world renown surgeons, we use RNs to scrub, and we can teach you. Involved in the latest innovations, strong practice councils and opportunity for leadership advancement. Call requirements : are one weeknight every week, one weekend every 6th weekend, and one holiday per year. Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital (BHVH) is a nationally recognized destination hospital for heart and vascular care in North Texas as well as much of the surrounding region.  BHVH was founded in 2002 and was the first North Texas hospital dedicated solely to the care and treatment of heart and vascular disease.  The number of lifesaving and life-changing procedures offered has continued to increase since that time. Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN - Registered Nurse
• BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
• Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• 2 Years of Experience
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer
