Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life Position Summary: The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. Our OR Radiologic Technologists operate specialized imaging equipment such as O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms and performs double c-arm cases. It is expected you will have knowledge of imaging equipment connectivity with intraoperative navigation and robotic devices and troubleshoots device connection with imaging equipment. You will collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases. As a Radiologic Technologist in the OR, you may perform imaging for ERCP/GI exams and cardiac ICU catheter placements as needed.

Requirements

  • Licensed Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Associates in Radiology: Minimum Degree Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of completed experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Successful completion of specialized training in OR and Fluoroscopic procedures
