Reno Orthopedic Center wants you to join the team as an OR Orderly! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team member to assist with patient care to ensure they are safely transported while maintaining a spotless, organized and fully stocked operating rooms at our main ROC location. Step into an essential role where your hands-on support keeps the surgical team moving flawlessly! You’ll be at the center of the action, expertly assisting with patient transfers to ensure comfort and safety every step of the way—from bed to stretcher, and stretcher to the OR table. When it’s time for OR turnovers, you’ll make sure the space is spotless and ready for the next life-changing procedure. You’ll even scrub into total joint surgeries, holding limbs steady to help the surgeons deliver their best work. Plus, you’ll keep the OR and equipment rooms fully stocked and perfectly organized, ensuring nothing ever slows down the rhythm of the operating room. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience working as a Nursing Assistant or Orderly.
Responsibilities
- Assist in transferring patients from bed to stretcher, stretcher to OR table, etc.
- Assist with Operating Room turnovers including sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting and gathering linens and other surgical equipment
- Scrub into total joint surgeries and hold limbs as needed
- Ensure OR is properly stocked with materials and equipment
- Ensure equipment rooms are organized and stocked
- Assist central sterile processing.
