Speare Surgical Services is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy a variety of surgical cases and tasks. Perioperative nurses use the nursing process to develop individualized plans of care and to coordinate and deliver care to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. Perioperative nurses have the skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate the outcomes of nursing interventions. Along with multidisciplinary teams, perioperative RNs identify needs, establish goals, and develop a plan of care to achieve optimal outcomes with patients and their designated support person(s). This is for a seasonal/temporary assignment for 13 weeks.
