Work in a modern, well-equipped facility - primarily at our South campus, with occasional floating to our North campus. $10,000 Sign on Bonus - with one year contract. Your Role as an OR Circulator As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct nursing care to patients throughout their surgical procedures. You will ensure that everything in the OR runs smoothly, from preparation to post-operative care, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to different assignments.
  • Commitment to patient safety and infection control standards.
  • Team-oriented mindset - collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team.
  • Current Oklahoma RN license
  • BCLS required; ACLS required for conscious sedation; PALS preferred
  • Completion of conscious sedation test
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required in the OR

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and care of patients during the peri-operative period.
  • Set up the OR using surgeon preference cards and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
  • Verify patient identity, procedure, and surgical site before transport to the OR.
  • Support anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and adhere to hospital policies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the surgical team.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure proper operation of OR equipment.
