What you’ll do: The OR Assistant transports patients to the Operating Room to allow surgical intervention to take place. Assists in operating room turnover process, including cleaning tables/equipment. Transports patients from various locations throughout the hospital into the OR. Practices aseptic principles in the Operating Room to ensure protection from infection Handles supplies and specimens appropriately to ensure proper processing and maintains asepsis. Requirements

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications Required: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Nice To Haves

Preferred: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
