OR Aide - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Nebraska Surgery Center specializes in Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, General, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Dental, Plastic and Cosmetic, Obstetrics and Gynecological, Neuro, and ENT. This position will assist the nursing staff in total patient care, within the scope of their certification. The OR Aide may perform non-specialized tasks related to the personal care and comfort of the patients. Assist with inventory, and identify items needing to be restocked. Safely assist in the positioning of the patient properly, comfortably, and safely according to specific needs. Helps with turnover of each OR room. May perform standard CNA tasks.
Requirements
- Must have current CNA certification from a state-approved training course.
- Current CPR/BLS required at time of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer previous experience in an acute care setting.
