About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center seeks a full-time residency trained Optometrist. Candidates must have completed a four-year program at an accredited optometry school. Candidates must have strong academic interests including high quality patient care, clinical teaching of optics and contact lens management to ophthalmology residents, as well as some scholarship focus. The academic rank will be commensurate with their training, qualifications and experience. Recent graduates will assume the rank of Assistant Professor of Optometry in the Department of Ophthalmology.
