Part-Time Optometry Technician - Vision Clinic

Midwest Eye Consultants in Shelbyville is looking for a friendly and motivated Optometric Technician to join our clinic. No experience in the medical field? No problem. We provide hands on training, experienced trainers, and a mentor to help you learn everything you need to succeed. Our technicians play an important role in patient care. You will work closely with doctors and patients to help ensure each visit runs smoothly and that doctors have the information they need to provide excellent care.
Responsibilities
- Collect important patient information and histories
- Perform preliminary and ancillary eye testing
- Prepare patients for their eye exams
- Assist doctors during procedures
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff
